Fire Prevention EducationThe Oshkosh Fire Department has a proactive Public Education Division. Educational programs cover the obvious Fire Safety/Prevention topics (including Fire Station Tours & Fire Engine visits), along with First Aid, Evacuation Planning/Procedures, and Summer Safety to name just a few.

Child Safety Seat inspections are also available (by appointment) from a AAA Certified car seat technician.

For those children with a fascination with fire, a Juvenile Fire Safety Program is available as well.
