Welcome to the Menominee Park Zoo!
The mission of the Menominee Park Zoo is to
serve the community through the exhibition of a historical collection of
both native Wisconsin exotic and domestic animals. To enrich the zoo visitor while encouraging
the
appreciation of animal behavior, habitat, and diversity.

The Zoo is located in Menominee Park on the East side of Oshkosh. The park is bordered by Lake Winnebago on the East and Hazel and Merritt Streets on the South and West.
Our zoo is open from the first weekend in May through the last weekend in September. Due to our short season, the majority of our animals are leased, allowing us a different variety each year.
As new exhibits are built, we will acquire more permanent animals and will likely stay open throughout the year.
The zoo is approximately 8 acres and carries 30-50 animals during the season. We entertain and educate over 43,500 visitors per year including over 3,500 children on educational field trips.
Menominee Park Zoo is located in Menominee Park on the shores of Lake Winnebago bordered by Hazel and Merritt Streets.
