SERVICES OFFERED AT THE OSHKOSH SENIORS CENTER CAMPUS

  • Handicap Parking Applications and Advance Directive Documents are available.

  • Community Service Brochures are available. Please ask the receptionist for specific
    brochures of interest.

  • Bus Services: The city bus provides service to the South Building (formerly the Main Facility) front door.
    FREE Transportation to and from the Oshkosh Seniors Center. A pass may be picked up at the South and North Buildings.

  • Copy and Fax Machines and laminating services are available at the South Building (formerly the Main Facililty) for a small fee.

  • Dial-A-Ride IDs are free and can be picked up at the South Building (formerly the Main Facility). Using a Dial-A-Ride card reduces cost of cab. ID cards can be laminated for a small charge.

  • File for Life forms and completion assistance are available. Please talk with receptionist for assistance.

  • Fictional, history, travel books, and entertainment and resource videos are available for checking out in the general or medical library located in the South Building (formerly the Main Facility). Please check with the receptionist for details and checkout procedures.

  • Tax Aide assistance is offered free of charge by trained AARP IRS volunteers from February through April 15, by appointment only. AARP sponsors programs for middle and lowincome taxpayers, paying special attention to those of the age 60 and older starting in January. Volunteers prepare returns, provide assistance and E-file for prompt refunds. Call 232-5300 for an appointment.

  • Housing Directories that list local housing options for seniors are available.

  • Bulletin Board: A community bulletin board is located in each building can be used to advertise local informational programs, community, state and federal information data, social activities, educational programs, employment opportunities, Winnebago Seniors Tours trips, services offered by local business, craft fairs, community dances, support group meetings and upcoming events at the Center.

Rooms Available For Rent!
The Oshkosh Seniors Center Campus has several rooms available for rent. The Center can accommodate small groups and up to 300 people. Facilities are smoke-and alcohol-free. Contact the Center today and ask for rental information. Renters during 2010 included
