Volunteers:

The Oshkosh Seniors Center depends on the support of more than 400 volunteers to offer programs, activities, classes, and informational programs to seniors in and around the Oshkosh community. The gift of time and talent offered by our volunteers results in more than 22,000 volunteer hours each year. Volunteers are involved in daily operations of the Center as well as support the many special programs offered throughout the year. Without volunteers, the Oshkosh Seniors Center would not be what it is today!

Many volunteer roles exist at OSC. Examples include receptionist/greeter, kitchen assistants, decorators, newsletter folders, newsletter deliverers, chorus members, gift shop clerks, instructors, activity leaders, and committee members. Volunteer roles are also available to support special programs throughout the year, such as the flu clinic, tax aide, dances, winter and summer games, senior triathlon, and annual walk/run event. In addition, many volunteers are needed to support programs offered by the Friends of the Oshkosh Seniors Center such as the Fall Family Fun Fest, held annually in September, and other fundraising events.

Please call the Oshkosh Seniors Center at 232-5300 if you are interested in volunteering.
