Poster Contest Artwork

In September of 2010, the Oshkosh Transit System (OTS) released the “Go Green with OTS” fifth grade poster contest. Area 5th grade students were asked to submit artwork that helped to promote OTS’s hybrid-electric buses and present public transit as an environmentally-friendly option for travel.

OTS received 84 total entries from 9 different elementary schools. 4 designs were selected as first place winners. Each winning design was displayed on an exterior ad of one of the 4 hybrid-electric buses. Copies of the winning designs were also placed on interior ads and displayed on all buses. The 2010 winners included:

OTS thanks all that participated and encouraged participation in this contest. OTS would also like to thank the Oshkosh Women’s Arts Club for help judging and selecting winners. All entries were excellent, which made the final judging difficult.
