Deputy Mayor Debra Allison-Aasby was elected to the Oshkosh Common Council in April, 2011. She serves on the Long Range Finance Committee, the Parking Utility Commission, and the Grand Opera House Advisory Board. In addition, Deb serves on the Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation Board. She previously served on the Oshkosh Redevelopment Authority, the Downtown Business Improvement District Grant Committee, and is a past member of the Oshkosh Christian School Board. Deb also sits on the Board of Directors for the Winnebago County Board of Health and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Council Member Allison-Aasby has been a business owner since 2001. She started three businesses and sold two of them. In addition to running her existing business, Lakeshore Coffee Company, Deb is an Investment Advisor Representative and Financial Planner with Principal Financial Group. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in marketing.

Deb was born in Port Wing, Wisconsin on Lake Superior. She has lived in Oshkosh since 1996. Deb is married to Robb and they have two daughters, Rachel and Nicole. Deb looks forward to serving the citizens of Oshkosh and continuing to move the city in a forward direction.
