City Manager Mark Rohloff

Mark Rohloff has been City Manager for the city of Oshkosh since 2008. With the leadership and vision of the Oshkosh Common Council, Mark and his staff have transformed the city of Oshkosh into a customer-oriented service organization through strategic planning, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. Mark has 35 years of experience in local government management, in areas as diverse as finance, economic development, public works, and organizational development. Prior to coming to Oshkosh, Mark served in local government leadership roles in Colorado, California, and elsewhere in Wisconsin.

Mark is a Past President of the Wisconsin City-County Management Association and was previously a Member of the Board of Directors for the League of Wisconsin Municipalities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the League’s Mutual Insurance Company and on various non-profit boards in the Oshkosh area. Mark is also a member of the adjunct faculty in the UW Oshkosh Master of Public Administration program.

Mark believes in working closely with individuals and groups throughout the city to achieve great things for our community. The city of Oshkosh Strategic Plan emphasizes transparency, collaboration, and approaching issues with a “can do” attitude to move Oshkosh forward, and Mark is committed to those values.
