Planned Giving/Sponsorship
There are multiple methods of financially supporting the Friends of the Oshkosh Seniors Center or the Oshkosh Seniors Center.
The Friends of the Oshkosh Seniors Center, Inc., a tax exempt, charitable organization with 501C3 status, has an Endowment Fund with the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation. The principal remains secure, and each year, a percentage of the interest generated comes back to the Oshkosh Seniors Center for program support. As this fund, continues to grow, additional opportunities are available to help programs develop and to reduce the tax dollars needed to support the Center.
The Center is financially supported primarily by City of Oshkosh tax dollars. Grants from Winnebago County, the Friends of the Oshkosh Seniors Center, Inc., room rentals, fees from non-city residents and donations by participants also produce revenues.
