How to calculate your bill
Example:
Water consumption is 1,000 cubic feet. (Note the City bills in 100 cubic foot increments)
Water meter size is either 5/8” or 3/4” (represents most residential accounts)
Water volume charge = 10 x $5.12 = $51.20
Water fixed charge = $8.60
Total monthly water bill charge = $59.80
Sewer consumption is 1,000 cubic feet (It is assumed that sewer use is the same as water use)
Sewer volume charge = 10 x $5.61 = $56.10
Fixed sewer charge = $10.79
Total monthly sewer bill charge = $66.89
Public fire protection quarterly charge = $3.38
Storm water for average residential account = $17.55
Total monthly bill for water, sewer, fire protection, and storm water = $147.62
